Change is the only true constant.

You would think that by now, I would just learn to accept the fact that change is truly the only thing that is constant in this life. Be it a good thing or a bad thing, nothing lasts forever. Everything has it's own season. This of course forces us to learn and grow. Sometimes I wish growing just didn't involve a little pain. However, the gardener knows that the rose bush will never reach its potential if it is not first cut back, pruned. Only then can the rose bush truly grow into a truly beautiful plant! This is true with our lives as well.

I am learning that I can do hard things if I rely on the Lord. For I know in who I have trusted. In turn I am the Lord's hope (see 2 Nephi 4:19 & Jeremiah 17:7). I want this blog to focus on the Lord's tender mercies in my life as I go through the constant choices, chances, and changes in my life. I believe those that are happiest, are those who choose to be grateful. I am so blessed to be me and am so blessed by the Lord. I am so grateful for the loving family that I get to share life with.
