All You Need is Love...

Christmas 2012

All you need is love! -The Beatles
Penny Lane South Jordan, Utah
2012 has been an awesome year for the Preece Family. We have welcomed two new little ones into the family. This Christmas was the best because we were all able to be together, which does not happen too often anymore. The Preece Magnificent Seven have multiplied into 13 and counting. I am so grateful for family and the love that we share. I am also grateful for the wonderful Christmas season. It is a wonderful time to focus on God's gift of sending His son to us. I am so grateful for my Savior and older brother. I love how each Christmas we have the opportunity to focus on His birth, for He truly is the light and a gift to the world. He is the way to peace.

My new job is going well. I really like the management and the people I work with. While it is very challenging, and I still feel very inadequate, I am learning and growing. My nursing skills are improving greatly. I am grateful for this opportunity, even though it is hard and challenging at times.

Here are a few pictures of our Christmas festivities...

Some fishing at Scheels...
Out Christmas Shopping with Hazel...
First time eating out at a restaurant.

A Party at Cafe Rio.

For New Years Day we had a Gingerbread House decoration contest:

Grandparents hanging with Lawrence, so the
gingerbread house contest could be in full focus.

You can't tell in the picture, but there are candles
inside so light flickers through the windows.
This picture is before it was dusted with
powder sugar. You can see the details better.

I just love Temple Square!
Especially at Christmas.
I had never seen the lumineers at Temple Square before.

I love the lanterns! A new find this year too.

This is my mom's favorite spot...
the pink lights!

Here's to hoping 2013 will lead to more family love and togetherness!
