From Chaos to Home...

The move in...

Thanks to all of my wonderful family's help, I got all of my stuff moved over in one weekend. It did make for a late night burger at In-N-Out.

To settled in!

One of my favorite finds at Ikea...a glass bowl lamp!

I'm so lucky to have such a big closet!

Even my orange tree has found a home!

The white orchid flowers I pressed from the orchid I got from my sweet family after taking my NCLEX exam (it's the test nurses take to get licensed...the test that makes them RNs). It was not one of my best days; I thought I had failed for sure! Luckily I passed! The little purple flowers are from the orchid I got for my apartment the last year of my bachelors degree.

I just love how this turned out! Another one of my passions is books. I hope to have a library full of them someday; complete with the rolling ladder! I just love all the cool little pieces I found at Hobby Lobby...the King & Queen chest pieces, the clock, the candle, the frames, etc.! I also love all of the pictures!! I love Pinterest, which allowed me to print out the awesome picture of President Monson with the "Enjoy the Journey" quote. That is something I am constantly working on improving at!

I am so blessed to have such sweet grandparents that loaned me this table and other essentials throughout the place!

I just love these pieces of artwork! I found the one of Christ at Deseret Book, but it is not one you see too often. I also love how the picture of the temple turned out...again thank you Pinterest! I love the neat frames I was able to find at Hobby Lobby.

I also have a neat patio!

An awesome surprise about my apartment is that just outside the steps that lead to my apartment, there is a bed of iris flowers. One is just starting to bloom! I am so excited for the whole bed to blossom!

One of my favorite things about my apartment is the covered parking! I love not having to scrape in the morning! It makes a good spot to keep my new Jeep!

I am just so blessed to be me! I love my new little place, but I am super glad family is not very far away. And of course, I have to go home to visit lots! It has been so fun to decorate and create a little nest that is mine. Hope all is finding you well this springtime season!
